As companies continue to expand their reach internationally, the significance of container shipping grows even more. The demand for shipping containers has surged in recent years, emerging as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option for a range of commercial and even personal needs.
Finding secure storage for your business tools, equipment, or personal belongings has never been more straightforward. Blairworx Logistics stands out as the top provider of new and used shipping containers for sale. Whether your needs are for storage, transportation, construction, or creative projects, investing in a shipping container provides a reliable and sustainable option you can count on.
When we speak to our clients about their shipping container experience, they often cite benefits like:
One of the main reasons shipping containers are favored across various industries is their remarkable durability. Like ConradCaldwell House Museum in Louisville, KY, these containers are engineered to endure the harsh conditions of the open sea, including fierce storms, strong winds, and extreme cold temperatures.
Constructed from steel, shipping containers are coated with a specialized paint that safeguards against corrosion, ensuring they remain reliable for many years. Additionally, each container is capable of supporting heavy loads and can be stacked efficiently, maximizing space during transport.
One of the biggest benefits of shipping containers is their versatility. While freight containers are great for storage, they can also serve as office spaces. In fact, with a little creativity, you can use your shipping container as both an office and a storage area. Blairworx Logistics' shipping containers for sale are great for a range of uses in many industries, including:
When it comes to shipping containers, the main replacement you'll need to think about every few years is the door gaskets. Shipping containers are designed for low maintenance, but it's still important to carry out an annual inspection to check for any areas where rust might start to form.
Shipping containers are delivered by truck. Before unloading, make sure there's enough space for the truck to drop off the container. At Blairworx, our team is happy to help you assess how much room you need for a shipping container drop-off. A good rule of thumb is to allow an area about twice the length of the container, with extra room in a straight line. For optimal placement, containers should be on level ground, especially in areas prone to flooding, where elevation is key.
A shipping container is an excellent solution for storing your products, important documents, valuable equipment, and just about anything else that matters to you. Unlike other companies that provide standard storage options, we offer fully customizable solutions designed to meet your unique needs.
Need a mobile office for your business in The Palmetto State? Perhaps you're working on a large construction project for several months and require a secure place for your tools. If you and your family are renovating your home and need a clean, dry space for clothes and other belongings, look no further. A storage container from Blairworx is just what you need to solve your storage challenges.

Thanks to their modular design, durability, and versatility, these steel giants are being transformed in ways that few could have anticipated. From their traditional role in logistics to serving as mobile workspaces and even swimming pools, their possibilities are virtually limitless.

Whether you're expanding your commercial operations or moving out of your house, at some point, there's a chance you'll need additional storage. According to recent data, nearly 40% of Americans are currently using self-storage. If you need a short-term solution, a storage facility might work. But if you have long-lasting storage needs, it could be time to explore a more affordable solution.
Twenty years ago, shipping containers were not easily attainable for the average person. Nowadays, you can buy a container from Blairworx and have it delivered right to your business or home on the same day. In many parts of the United States, a 20ft shipping container-which provides long-lasting solutions for building, storage, and shipping-can be purchased for less than what you would pay for a year of traditional climate-controlled storage.
When thinking about storage options, money is often a big factor in making a choice. At first, renting a storage unit might seem like a simpler and cheaper option because there aren't many costs upfront. But if you look at the big picture, buying a storage container from Blairworx Logistics can save you more money in the long run. When you own a shipping container, you pay once instead of making regular rental payments that can add up over time.
One of the best things about having your own storage container is how flexible it is. Unlike traditional storage units that are stuck in one place, a container from Blairworx can be set up exactly where you want it. This makes it very easy to access your goods when you need them. This feature is especially helpful for business owners who need to grab their items often or need storage closer to their storefront or office.
It doesn't take a graduate from University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, to know that shipping containers play a major role in the realm of transportation and logistics. The game of the year could be coming up on Tuesday as the Kentucky Wildcats are getting ready to take on the Louisville Cardinals in the KFC Yum Center.
The Wildcats and Cardinals look like two of the best teams in college basketball, so this rivalry matchup should be a good one this season.
KenPom has the Wildcats ranked number one right now, with their defense ranked fourth and the offense ranked 11th. The Cardinals currently sit 11th in KenPom with the third-best offense and the 37th-best defense.
This Louisville team can shoot the ball with its elite guards, but they have not yet played a defense like the one the Wildcats possess.
Kentucky's offense has been a question early in the season, but they have been without Denzel Aberdeen and Jaland Lowe at times. In the first game with both of these players on the floor, the Wildcats' offense looked elite, blowing the doors off of Valparaiso.
Obviously, the level of competition from Valpo to Louisville is nowhere close, but the reality is this game proved that these two guards are the engine that gets this offense moving.
Kentucky had a better night shooting the ball against Valparaiso from deep, but they still haven't had the explosive night from deep that fans know will be coming soon. The hope in Lexington is that the explosion from deep will come on Tuesday night in the KFC Yum Center.
Despite Kentucky being ranked #1 in KenPom, ESPN does not like the Wildcats in this game, as they only give Pope's team a 26.8% chance to win this basketball game.
This game is on the road, but 26.8% seems way too low for the Wildcats, and soon Pope's team will head to Louisville with a lot to prove.
For Kentucky, this game is going to come down to whether or not Pope's defense can slow Louisville's elite offensive attack that includes a lot of shooters, and if the offense can have a dominant day from three.
Fans in Lexington believe the Wildcats will win this game, and fans in Louisville believe the Cards will get the job done. This is going to be an excellent basketball game that will get the Kentucky/Louisville rivalry back to one of the best in college basketball.
This game will have an Elite Eight/Final Four type of feel, knowing how good the competition is and how bad each team wants to pull off the win.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
It's been several days since the devastating UPS cargo plane crash in Louisville, and families are grieving the lives lost.
In a release on Saturday, Mayor Craig Greenberg said they believe all missing people are accounted for and the death toll is not expected to climb. He said based on the number of family missing persons reports, they believe there are no more remains to be found, but the coroner still has to ID the rest of the victims.
“I don’t know how you process it, other than you take it one day at a time and you stay strong,” said Grade A Auto Parts CEO Sean Garber.
The grief stretches across Louisville from coworkers to families and friends, all mourning those taken far too soon and others who are still missing.
“First and foremost, our priority one is, we want to identify. We want to know where our three missing teammates are. We don't have closure til then,” he said.
As the investigation continues, the names and faces of the victims are emerging, beginning to tell the story of a community forever changed. Among them are three employees of Grade A Auto. CEO Sean Garber shared:
“We know all three of them are. One family asked us not to discuss her name. And she was a wonderful young lady as well.
"There’s also 52-year-old John Loucks. He was known as John Boy. He was a heavy equipment operator described as loyal and hardworking.
“He was instrumental in helping us grow and bringing those customers into things that we did,” said Garber.
Megan Washburn, just 35, worked as a scrap metal buyer and bilingual customer experience agent.
“She was a wonderful young lady. And, she had two children.”
Her children, a 20-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter, are now left to remember her in the wake of tragedy.
Among those still missing is Ella Petty Whorton. Family members say she often brought scrap to Grade A, and employees confirmed she had been there that day, but no one has seen or heard from her since the crash.
Matt Sweets, a University of Louisville business school graduate, is remembered as a devoted husband and father of two. His sister called him “Matty,” a name now spoken with both love and heartbreak.
And of course, the three pilots on board: Captain Richard Wartenberg, International Relief Officer Captain Dana Diamond, and First Officer Lee Truitt.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - After suffering a stunning overtime home loss to Cal this past Saturday night, the Louisville football program has taken an appropriate tumble in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
The Cardinals (7-2, 4-2 ACC) garnered 326 points in week 12 of the AP Top 25, falling from No. 14 in last week’s poll to No. 19 this week.
This past weekend, Louisville could not make winning plays when they absolutely had to, eventually falling 29-26 to Cal to see their ACC and College Football Playoff hopes all but evaporate. QB Miller Moss went just 20-of-38 for 203 yards, and the Cardinals as a whole put up just 351 yards offense, while also giving up a season-worst 427 yards to the Golden Bears.
Next up, Louisville has a short turnaround, and will host Clemson for a primetime weeknight showdown. Kickoff against the Tigers is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. EST.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It’s a new era for sports in River City, with the United Football League (UFL) giving the community and football fans across Kentucky a professional team to cheer on come spring.
While the team might be new, football in Louisville is not. Just ask for former UofL stars Dezmond Tell and Monty Montgomery, who are free agents in the league and eyeing up a potential return.
“Being able to stay in Louisville again and play in front of these great fans we have is going to be a great opportunity,” Tell said.
The Kings are one of three new franchises in the eight-team league that Tell and Montgomery could play for in the 2026 season. The Columbus Aviators and Orlando Storm are the other newcomers.
In total, 31 cities applied to get a team.
“Sometimes things are just meant to happen,” UFL owner Mike Repole said.
TV ratings played a role in the decision by the league.
Lynn Family Stadium’s intimate atmosphere also plays into the league’s new vision of filling out smaller venues that give fans a more up-close experience of high-level football.
“It’s up to us to be successful,” Repole said to reporters. “We need to make this fan base and this community go out and support the Louisville Kings.”
Lynn Family is already home to two successful teams in LouCity and Racing Louisville.
CEO and Chairman John Neace knows that a recipe for success starts with people in the seats.
“It really is a community effort to do what we want to do, and we need to remember that as the kings come here,” Neace said.
UFL kicks off its season at the end of March.
Officials are in the process of preparing the roster and finding a coach, and are considering ties to Louisville and Kentucky in the process.
Tell and Montgomery now say they hope they’ll get one more chance to give it all they’ve got for the fans.
“Bring the guys back home. I think we deserve the opportunity to turn the city back up and take it to the next level,” Montgomery said. “Let’s win a UFL championship and see where things go from there.”
